A MESSAGE FROM THE AERIALIZE BOARD
To our Aerialize community,
Over the past weeks, the Aerialize Board has been exploring, at length, various scenarios to sustain the company in these complex and unprecedented times.
The CoronaVirus Pandemic has fundamentally altered how we operate and indeed our industry (which has been decimated), as many of you are personally experiencing.
Like many arts organisations facing the uncertainty of the virus timeline, the Aerialize board has decided to significantly reduce our operations. As a Board, we are currently devising a plan for the 6-months at least, with a longer term trajectory for 12-months as the Government public health order determines. .
As of Monday 20th April, we enter a temporary caretaker mode, with the Board taking over operations for the next 6 months. In lieu of this, we have made the decision to temporarily stand down the staff for the next 6 months. We are working hard to significantly reduce or suspend all expenses as we anticipate zero revenue until the public health orders change. .
Along with so many in our industry who have been affected by this global pandemic, we are trying to remain optimistic and work out the best way we can remain open in the future. The survival of Aerialize has been central to all of our decision making.
We wish you all the best in these strange times and we look forward to the point we can come back together in celebrating the importance Circus plays in all our lives, and the generous nurturing community that comes with it.
Any future online classes offered by our instructors will be promoted on our social media pages
We invite you to keep the lines of communication open with us and can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org .
