This year Aerialize is collaborating with Legs on the Wall to develop a new work of contemporary circus and physical theatre as part of Sydney Fringe Festival.
The Concept: Glass Widow
Glass Widow is a term that usually refers to women who have fallen in love with and marry people who have been incarcerated, this development will explore the emotional and physical struggle of these women.
This stage of the development will be a female driven perspective and narrative, facilitated by Legs on the Wall Artistic Director Joshua Thomson and Dramaturg & concept creator Caroline Craig.
We are seeking expressions of interest from Aerialize advanced students and instructors who would like to be involved as a performer/collaborator. As this is a female driven perspective we will initially be looking at working with 4 women over the age of 18 for this initial stage of the creative development.
The creative development will be held at Aerialize 21st- 25th September 2020 10am - 4pm daily and will have 3 public showings Friday, Saturday and Sunday 25th - 27th September 2020.
