CLASSES

Payment & Enrolment

Enrolments are done online through our website.

Enrolments for a course are secured by full payment prior to the start date of the course or class*. Spaces in a class are not secure until payment is made and you have booked into your chosen class.

*If you have opted into a payment plan you agree to pay the full amount of the class/service you have purchased.

Term fees are payable in full regardless if you cannot attend a class throughout the term.

Payment plans are available for term classes only, but are not available with in-conjunction early bird discounts.

Payment plans will be deducted on the day of the class taking place each week. If the payment is rejected there is a $9 dishonour fee from our payment provider EZI Debit.

Cancellations made by Aerialize

Aerialize classes run to strict minimum and maximum numbers. In the event a course does not meet the minimum number of enrolments to run, Aerialize reserves the right to cancel that course. In this instance, you will be offered one of the following:

1. A place in a comparable course at a comparable time

2. To participate in the advertised course with an altered format

3. To defer your fees for a future comparable course

4. To have your fees refunded

A call as to whether a term based class will run or not will be made no later than the day after the second class of term.

Aerialize reserves the right to determine which courses are comparable to the one cancelled.

Aerialize reserves the right to substitute an instructor where the advertised instructor is not available to teach.

In the event that a single class must be cancelled due to sudden unforeseen circumstances (eg, power outage, flooding, sudden safety risk etc) that single class will be postponed and rescheduled for the same day and time during the break week at the end of term.

Full Classes

In the event a class reaches maximum numbers, no more enrolments can be taken. You may be given the option to join a waiting list. Where places become available one may be offered to you.

Enrolment Cancellations / Refunds / Transfers / Fees and transactions / Make-up classes

Any student who withdraws from a course before the start of the term will be entitled to a refund or deferral credit. Notification of intent to withdraw must be received in writing by the Aerialize administration at info@aerialize.com.au at least 7 days before the start of term.

Once a drop-in class has begun NO refunds or credits are given for withdrawals/cancellations under any circumstances.

Once a term has begun NO refunds or credits are given for withdrawals/cancellations (if a serious medical illness/injury has occurred and a medical certificate is provided within 72hrs to Aerialize administration, students may be granted a deferral credit. Please note deferral credits cannot be refunded and are subject to expiration dates.)

Any student who enrols in a course and wishes to transfer to another comparable course is required to make this request to the Aerialize administration no less than 72 hours prior to the course commencement.

Aerialize reserves the right to determine which courses are comparable to the one enrolled.

Because our classes run to strict minimums and maximums, fees paid in advance are required to determine if the class will run or be cancelled. Likewise, paid enrolments secure places otherwise desired by those who missed out because the class was full.

All term passes are only valid for the extent of the term paid for.

All drop in, open training and industry training passes are valid for 3months from the date of purchase.

All deferral credits are valid for 3months unless otherwise specified.

Aerialize does NOT schedule make-up class for any missed classes - we have a term or drop in option available instead to choose what suits you best.

All school holiday program bookings cancelled 32 hrs prior to booked day are entitled to a refund or credit on file.

All school holiday programs cancelled within 32hrs are non refundable.

Fees, including transaction and registration fees are not refundable. No refunds can be offered for registration fees. The annual registration fee is required to purchase all term classes, such as Adult Lyra (Intermediate) or multiple pass products, such as 1.5hr ground class (5 pass). The Registration fee expires near the end of the year of purchase, but will not expire before the end of the 4th term of the year of purchase.

TRIAL CLASSES

Trial classes can be arranged by contacting the admin office via phone or email. Trial classes are $35 for all junior and teen classes. If the student decides to go ahead and enrol into the full term option of the class, a discount of the trial class price can be applied if the admin office is contacted to apply the discount. This discount does not apply to casual drop in classes. If you fail to claim your trial class discount, no refunds can be made.

BIRTHDAY CANCELLATIONS

Attendee numbers must be finalised 14 days prior to your party due to instructor-child ratio and safety regulations.

Parties rescheduled up to 10 days before the scheduled event will incur a 10% administration fee.

Parties canceled 10 days before the event can be partially refunded with a 20% fee will be charged (of your total booking cost).

Parties cancelled within the 10 day period cannot be refunded.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Payment

A private lesson organised through the Aerialize office MUST be paid for in advance. Returning students may request to arrange further lessons with their preferred instructor directly, and this is entirely at the instructor’s discretion.

Aerialize instructors do not carry change and Aerialize is a cashless office.

Late Arrivals / Cancellations / Reschedules

Private lessons are arranged for a specific start time. No extensions or discounts are given for late students.

No-shows are not rescheduled or refunded.

Any student who wishes to reschedule a booked private lesson must make this request directly to their instructor or to the Aerialize office at info@aerialize.com.au or on 02 8964 6135 no later than 24 business hours prior to their lesson. Reschedules requested beyond this time will not be honoured and fees will not be refunded or deferred.

Any private lessons cancelled by the instructor or by Aerialize will be rescheduled or refunded.

OPEN TRAINING

Open training is available to all levels (Beginners need written clearance from their instructor) who are or have been enrolled in a full term class at Aerialize.

DROP-INS

Due to safety reasons, not all classes are available for drop-ins. At the start of term, it will be advertised which classes are available for drop-in. All “passes”, meaning products purchased for use in drop-in classes, for example, 1.5hr ground class (5 pass), will expire 3 months from the date of purchase and will not be able to be applied to any classes occurring after the expiry date.

CLASS LEVELS

Aerialize has developed class levels to ensure that students work at a pace appropriate to their skill and ability.

Aerialize Instructors and staff will advise students when they are ready to proceed to the next level.

Aerialize instructors and staff reserve the right to decide which class level a student is required to attend.

Any student who disagrees with the level of class they are recommended to attend may arrange a private lesson with a senior teacher in their discipline for grading. These private lessons will be subject to the terms and conditions relating to private lessons.

STUDENT CONDUCT

Students are advised to wear appropriate training clothing for their class. Students are asked not to wear shoes on the mats or aerial equipment. It is advised not to wear jewellery, belts, buckles or other hard materials when attending classes.

Instructors have the right to decline entry to late or disruptive students. Students must participate in the class warm up which is conducted in class prior to using the aerial equipment. If a student is late, disruptive or fails to follow the Trainers directions they may be asked to leave the Class. No refunds or credits are paid in these circumstances.

No student is to touch or change any of the aerial or rigging equipment in the training space.

Students should be aware of their own strength and abilities, and never push themselves if injured. If a student is unsure of any skills, they are to always take the option they feel most comfortable with once they have discussed their concerns with their instructor.

INJURY

If a student has sustained an injury but has been given specific instructions by medical professionals that they may return to training, this must be communicated to Aerialize staff, however training is at the students own risk. Our classes are not catered for people with injury and a reduction in class fees are NOT applied.

If you feel like you are being harassed or bullied in any way it is important that you bring this to the attention of the administration of Aerialize through the Training Coordinator or the General Manager, who will investigate and deal with any complaint.

A student who is found to have harassed or bullied another student, a teacher, or a member of the Aerialize community, will not be allowed to continue their course and will not have their fees or any part thereof returned to them.
